Greetings, fellow bookworms, and welcome to the latest crime, thriller & mystery titles from Allen & Unwin!
We've been lucky this year, with not one but two new novels from Michael Connelly - Nine Dragons is in stores now! We've received some great feedback on this latest Harry Bosch adventure ("couldn't put it down" seems to be a common theme...)
And Corinna Chapman/Kerry Greenwood fans, rejoice, for the crime-fighting baker extraordinaire is back in the delicious Forbidden Fruit. Read on for more, and for your chance to win advance reading copies of the new books from Peter Corris and Spencer Quinn.
From the streets of L.A. to the shimmering skyline of Hong Kong, Harry Bosch pursues the criminals who have kidnapped his daughter. Could her disappearance and the case he's been working on be connected? With the stakes of the investigation so high and so personal, Bosch is up against the clock in a new city, where nothing is at it seems.
Channel Ten's production "A Model Daughter: The killing of Caroline Byrne", based on Robert Wainwright's acclaimed book and starring Garry McDonald and Gyton Grantley, goes to air next week on November 4th.
This month we have advance reading copies of two great new crime titles up for grabs: Torn Apart, the new Cliff Hardy novel from Peter Corris (his last book won the 2009 Ned Kelly Award for Crime Writing) and Thereby Hangs a Tail, the follow-up to Spencer Quinn's absolutely delightful romp Dog On It.
If you'd like to be the first to read and review one before it is published, send an email to enewsletter@allenandunwin.com with either 'Torn Apart review' or 'Spencer Quinn review' in the subject and tell us in 25 words or less why you would like to receive a copy.
